The Voice of Virginia Woolf — 2 Comments
When Nicole Kidman was researching Virginia Woolf for her role in The Hours she said she didn’t use this clip as a reference for her voice because she said it sound “too comical” which kind of annoyed me. But then again, Virginia’s nephew Quentin has said it isn’t a very good recording of her voice and she doesn’t really sound like that anyway virginiawoolfblog.com
Nichole said it sounded too comical? Interesting. That wasn’t what I thought when I heard it.
Thanks for the link to the Virginia Woolf blog. Great content and great photos.
